Roundness plot transposed

Recommended Posts

Hi PiWebians,

Come across an issue I seemingly cannot fix.

When plotting roundness in PiWeb it is “transposed” and there is no option to reverse it, if you use a legacy plot there is an option to transpose, this then makes the plot reflect the CAD evaluation when displaying points, which I can only assume is the true representation.

Does anyone know how to transpose a PiWeb plot?

Thanks in advance

In PiWeb designer you can create a template where you can have this graph mirrored.

Go to editor - click on "Pages" and select "Plot" page
Now in "Structure" expand tree in "Main section -> Roundness template -> Roundness" and click "Properties"
Find "Mirrored" and check it.

That's the only option.

is right, that is the only option within PiWeb:

But you cannot choose a mirror axis as you could within the "old" Protocol (i also couldnt figure out about what axis the rotation gets done):

In your case i would suggest to turn the CAD View to match the PiWeb Plot as an "easy" solution.

In general an entry in the "My Voice" Area within the Zeiss Portal would be a good idea to ask for the same functionality as it was in the "old" protocol.

Best Regards

Marcel

I think the plot orientations are related to the alignment of the feature? You could theoretically either assign a different alignment to the feature and/or recall features into new constructed features and assign alignments to them that would generate the plot orientation you want. Less than elegant, but it should work in a pinch.
