Connected Curve gives very bad result while separate are good

Recommended Posts

I`ve created 2 3d Curves. Both of them have pretty nice results. Then I`ve created new 3D Curve which is created from these two and I got result which is far from what is suppose to be.

I`ve tried Recall Points, Connection and it doesn`t work.

While I`m trying to check GD&T Line of profile Calypso is not giving me any result from connected Curve, while value for both (separated) is less than 0.02mm.

Any hint why is that?

How did you created this connected curve?

If you recalled measured points with recalculation with actual measured points, then nominals are rewritten according to actual data.
Also look if you don't have bad curve spline. Nominal points may have wrong numbering ( last point from 1st curve is not next to 1 point from 2nd curve )

Or send pictures or detail about those curve and their settings.

You should make a blank curve, then go to point manipulation and add nominals from existing curves. Then swap points, invert direction and other things if needed.

If you want to recalculate, then both curves has to be with removed actuals ( it will recalculate with nominals ).
