Hi

What type of font is GOM Inspect using for geometrical symbols like flatness, position, etc?

In GOM Inspect und PDF it looks ok:

image.png.9ce4a7ae20604b45ebbc7f56aa37f542.png

Extracting the values with Copy&Paste or Export to CSV it 's messed up:

Copy & Paste

[ = +0.000 +0.000 / +0.200

# = +0.000 +0.000 / +0.200

CSV Export

...
 #2.Position,Position = 0.000 0.000 / 0.200

regardless if I choose UTF-8 or ISO 8859-1 settings during export

There are Unicode characters available, e.g. flatness U+23E5.

Is there a way to use Unicode symbols instead?

Thanks for any hint.

Best regards, Martin

Hello mr. Ziegler,

what kind of export are you using?

Using .csv for example directly offers different types for further processing.

Dear Jens,

As written in my original post I tested this with UTF-8 and ISO 8859-1 without success. Would 8bit the way to go?

Thanks & best regards,

Martin
