Hi! I'm using the new T-Scan hawk 2 and there is a warning showing up in the software:

The computation of the scale bar discrepancy failed.

What does this mean and how can i fix it?

Thanks!!

Hi Luis,

it is a bit hard to tell what the problem is from just the error message. Could you please provide some more details?

  • What kind of measurement led to this error? Was that a satellite mode measurement?
  • Did you use HyperScales as scale bars for the measurement?
You should use (at least) two HyperScales when performing a Satellite Mode measurement. They are checked against each other and from this check the "scale bar discrepancy" is computed.
  • Were the HyperScales properly imported into the software via "Edit -> Preferences -> Templates -> HyperScales" (see screenshot)

  • Did the computation succeed? If yes: can you see in the information pane or in the 3D viewer how many HyperScales were identified?

Best regards

Christian
