Error MPROJ-0040 T-Scan hawk 2

Dear Colleagues,

I have a problem while start a scanning. Pop-up message shown sensor is used by another application. We try to klik Help-System Analysis-Sensor-Analyze and it work for a while, but after 2-3 times and we start to scan another part, the pop-up message shown again. Could you please advise how to fix this?

I got this error a couple times the other day, but in conjunction with another issue in which my Hawk keeps disconnecting (I have an open support ticket with Capture 3D about that issue).

Sometimes unplugging and replugging in the USB cable to my laptop fixed the issue you're seeing, but sometimes the only way I could fix it was to restart the PC.

Yeah, unplugging sometimes can fix this problem. But it's annoying if it happen repeatly.

Most likely it is the long USB C cable, I already had this problem with 3 different clients/sensors and it was the same reason.

Apparently it wears out on the side that is connected to the sensor.
