Hi guys,

I have a question when i want to export a report in csv.

i have multiple surface points and those points i want to see deviation y differents alignments, or linked  to differents coordinates system.

when i create a table and export it, all the points are in the same alingment.

i create a differents system coordinates to assing each point to the each alingment but i have a question about measurement principle to do it.

is it possible export “ pdf” report y csv? Like in polyworks?

could you help me with that problem?

could you say me what is the best way to do that?

thanks in advance

When you create a report page it will use what ever is your current coordinate system is for the creation of that page. After you create all of your report pages with  your different coordinate system go to "FILE->EXPORT->REPORT->INSPECTION->CSV.

This will export the report page data as a csv and the values will be tied to the coordinate system use when creating that report page. In the exported csv file you will be able to see what coordinate system is tied to the values exported. If you have points that are in two different report pages that are using different coordinate systems then you will have two lines of data, 1 from each report pages with the results from each coordinate system used.

Thanks for the reply Jayson.

i am trying this and now i have another question about that…

is it possible customize the colums of this csv?

i see a lot of colums that are not important for me .

for example i want to see, nominal and actual value, tolerance and deviation only.

thank you very much!!

I am also looking to get a better solution on this topic.

I am looking to export report inspection values out as a csv. the described "FILE->EXPORT->REPORT->INSPECTION->CSV. works, but as Jon mentioned contains a lot of additional unwanted information.

Additionally it doesn't allow for 'Overview', 'Statistics Overview', 'Trend' etc. Doing this manually then has issues if your report contains multiple alignments. Is there an existing solution of or a planned solution in future software ?

The only option I can see is to replace the file in C:\Program Files\Zeiss\INSPECT\2023\config\export\xslt with a custom primatives.xsl but that will still not allow for the option to change report styles etc

csv_primitives_report.xsl

You should get in your export, what you put in your table.

If you dont want information in your export, use table template without this information.

Regarding multible aligments just use the solution you use for other report formats. They should work as well.

For example define the alignment to be used for your elements so you can get them all at once in one table.

Hello,

the export via the menu, not the export in the table is based on export templates. They do not represent the table in the 3D view and also not the table on a report page created with the report template 'Table'. The function FILE->EXPORT->REPORT->INSPECTION->CSV will export the inspection on a report page, using the CSV export template, not the displayed table on a report page.

As Quintus writes, it's possible to edit the export templates, but it is not as easy as editing the table.

It is possible to show and export checks from different alignments from the table with help of local coordinate systems: ZEISS Quality Tech Guide
