ZEISS INSPECT file (zinspect) doesn't open in Gom Inspect (2022) version.

I transferred a file as "zinspect" with ZEISS Inspect, but this file does not open in GOM inspect. Do files created with ZEISS inspect not open in Gom inspect (low version)? ZEISS inspect files can only be saved in one format, zinspect.

I really want to upgrade Gom inspect to ZEISS inspect, but it didn't work because of a low computer specification. Is there way to pull "zinspect" file up with Gom inspect??

Hi,

newer projects can't be opened in the older software in general. You can't open a former GOM Inspect 2021 project in the 2020 for example. It became more apparent due to the new files .zinspect. You could try to export elements as XML and import in the older version, but a project including reports etc. is not backwards compatible.
