I have an initial milling scanned mesh and am trying to align it to the finished processed product.

Can anyone guide me on the workflow or step by step progression on the alignment?

The pre alignment doesn't work if i dont cut out some parts of the mesh, and even so, after I cut some parts to match it the front and back planes dont match as they should, meaning idk how to match them so it would be equall on both sides

I have aligned the mesh and CAD but thickness doesnt match,

How can I match both the back and front lanes?

Second picture illustrates, the inequality of thickness of one side.

Step 1: Pre align
Step 2: Establish coordinate systems for two products separately
Step 3: Align geometric features

Hi,
Sometimes pre-aligning it does not work very well. Select your MESH:

Select main alignment - if Main Alignment isn't good still, you may need to manuall align it using X,Y,Z Axes. Really hope this helps
