[Aa...] Posted February 10, 2022 Share Posted February 10, 2022 setting up a new rack for my XXT holder (RDS head), used the masterprobe to locate it. It will store the stylus once and will not retrieve it afterward. Nor will it pick up any other Stylus, it stops just shy of it and errors out (False pickup position). Of note the rack is on the right side of the machine and not the backside, The approach is X+ and rotation of A180B0 as it recommends. I am having the same issue with my OI-322 and Pro Max, it will change manually but when in a program gives this error. and ive got plenty of X travel left. Our fix has been to power cycle and rehome the machine, then redefine the racks... and the problem vanishes. It's not quite this same behavior, but it's close.
