[De...]
I have never been asked to provide a plot for surface profile before. That being said, I have done plots for line profile. I don't see an option to plot surface profiles. I have the latest version of Calypso with free form and curve, and I use both when reporting the surface profile as in I take 2d curves and recall the points into a freeform surface. So I guess what I am asking is can I plot a surface profile? If so How do I do it?

[Ma...]
For this is only option using CAD view. Or if you need same thing like on curves, then you can recall nominal points from FF into 3d curve. First clear FF from actuals to obtain nominals for curve instead actuals. Then you can recall measured points into curve from FF. This way you can pin deviations directly from protocol. On CAD view you would need to enable evaluation and characteristic for every point to be able to select points. Then after you selected points you have to save that view. [To...]
I normally create a CAD Presentation for Surface Profiles. Select the profile characteristic. Go to CAD > Evaluation. Tick Display at upper left. Set up the view however you want. I like turning on Max/Min with Font size 22 and Gradient. You'll need to play around with magnification and Actual points Presentation. Click Manage Views. Name your view. Click CAD Presentation. This will show up in Characteristics list. Close Evaluation window. Open Multiple Report window. Tick Exchange Row Template. Click Display Plots in Report. Turn ON the CAD Presentation item. Click Monitor icon at top to show current report. Click on Plot to expand to full size for further review. [De...]
Please sign in to view this quote. This was not an option for me. The only thing a button in that corner did for me was allow me to turn on or off reporting every point in the scan. I had to follow Martin, And Tom's advice. [Je...]
Please sign in to view this quote. . DeStito, Look for the CAD Evaluation button. The window for CAD Evaluation will allow you to create visual mapping of surfaces. These can be exported into a variety of formats. . . . . [Ri...]
I love the heat maps, I have programs with maybe upwards of 50 maps. It takes the report another 60% or more of the run time to generate the maps for printing.
