[Ri...]
I seem to be struggling importing an SSC file and having it "Update" the current probe with the same name. After updating and viewing the probe in "Stylus system management", the list is still the same. When trying to assign a stylus tip (from the list) the available tips are only what was created in Stylus System Creator. How do I associate the stylus tips from the original probe to the SSC probe? I don't think I have ever tried to do this. Edit: The list eventually changes to the SSC file probes, and my original list disappears.
[Cr...]
Make sure your SSC and PCF file names are exactly the same. Did you click the "Creates a new stylus system" button and then click update?Screenshot 2024-08-09 052158.png
[Ri...]
Using "Update" does not work. I imported an SSC file.
[Cr...]
It's been a while since I've done this. I don't think the PCF file will work. You will have to use a Text file. If you have the stylus on another machine, go to Rotate stylus to new position- Styli List- Save. This will be the text file you load after you've imported the SCC file. [Je...]
There are very few instances where a PCF and an SSC should cross paths. PCF = CNC use (location from Actuals). SSC = Planner use (location from nominals). They are not simple to make co-exist and a standard "Update" when importing the SSC will not function. You can maintain your RC list by exporting the RC list prior to SSC import. https://portal.zeiss.com/knowledge-base?id=528291
