Help interpreting a default printout entry

Recommended Posts

In the default printout for a measurement plan is the following entry:

Main #1 Diameter Diameter (GG)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Main #1 0.150000
                           34.927712 35.000000 -0.150000-0.072288 --|

I know that "Main #1 Diameter is the name of the characteristic, "Diameter" is the characteristic type, "(GG)" indicates the fitting algorithm (in this case, LSQ), "Main #1" is the feature to which the diameter belongs, "34.927712" is the actual diameter, "35.000000" is the nominal diameter, and "--|" is the histogram indicating visually where the actual result falls in relation to the nominal, but what are the rest of the numbers?

More specifically, what does "0.150000" represent, and what does "-0.150000-0.072288" represent? (I assume that last one is supposed to be two different numbers that, for some reason, ended up with no whitespace between them.)

Any clarification here would be greatly appreciated...
I've realized the "0.150000" is the upper tolerance and the "-0.150000" is the lower tolerance, and as Justin points out, the "-0.072288" is the deviation from nominal. I've also realized that, if the tolerances are zero for a characteristic, no histogram will be included.
Hmmm...I guess that makes sense...in a someone-didn't-think-through-all-scenarios sort of way. Since Calypso allows for 6 decimal places, it seems their default printout ought to be designed such that using 6 decimal places doesn't cause the printout to become unreadable...
