[Ja...]
I live in the second best country in the world, work at Teknologisk Institut. I'm mainly focused on education but i'm also invested in a few projects around MBD. Before I was with ZEISS for aaround 13 years, left and went to Koeningsegg and am now here. I've had the pleasure of meeting several of you before and wouldn't mind to again.
[Ch...]
Ex everything in inspection. From inspector trainee in 1983 to Quality manager for years. Now, I'm considered the gunnery sergeant around here. The guy they all go to when they cant figure out how to make something work, how to think outside the box, how to inspect the part, to train the new people. I do not consider myself an expert in quality, in GD&T or on CMM's. I'm a figure outer and that's how I'm used. I've programmed and run Geopac, QC500, PC Demon, CMM Manager and recently I'm learning Calypso. My favorite? CMM Manager by far. Extremely user friendly. I'm enjoying learning Calypso, but damn the Germans love to over complicate stuff! LOL That said, it's pretty cool software. I only have 3 to 5 years left until retirement so I will ever be great at it. All I need to do though is get good enough at it that I can train the younger people enough so they can then progress to being the experts eventually.
