[e2...]
[Ma...]
I don't know what base A and B is, but this can be done by using free form - but it looks like torus.
[Cl...]
Free form surface - Extract from faces. I don't have access to Calypso right now, but I think it's under CAD > Creating Features?
[e2...]
I haven't found anything under CAD, thanks anyway
[e2...]
I set 20 spatial points at this point and then joined them together in the free-form surface with point recall. Output then as a free-form surface. At least it worked.
[Er...]
CAD/Create Features just like Clark Gilbert mentioned works great. Click on Point Set, and for the Feature Drop Down select Free Form Surface, and for General Path you have a couple of options that work really well like from Surfaces, or 4 points. I use this quite often, for features like the one shown here.
[e2...]
Thank you Eric It worked 🙂 But a plot output of the surface shape is not possible then, is it? >>>> see screenshot . In any case, I have not found anything 🙁 Maybe you have an idea. Many thanks in advance
[Ma...]
With my PiWeb templates i don't have plot for this either. Use CAD evaluation if it's still available.
[e2...]
OK Thanks Martin
[Er...]
Also, under Cad Evaluation you can check the box for Min/Max Points, and it will tell you the best and worst result. Very useful for me when reporting adjustments needed to the machinists.
