3rd party CMM service recommendations needed

Has anyone had success with a 3rd party company providing repair service on their Zeiss CMM's? I am located in Southern Wisconsin and would like to find an alternative to get a down machine up and running quicker. It has been 75 hours since my service request was submitted and we still don't have a tech scheduled through Zeiss.

That sounds frustrating. Has Zeiss provided any correspondence after you submitted the ticket?

Your urgency in getting your CMM up and running is totally understandable. I would encourage you to use caution in sourcing a 3rd party due to warranty implications and other risk factors.

Could you describe the problem that you are having with your CMM?
