Strange Reporting Request

I have a somewhat strange question about Calypso's reporting. Is there any way, when running a Calypso measurement plan, to have Calypso put in any report the location and orientation of the Base Alignment within the machine envelope?

Within the realm of possibility, yes I believe so.

Are you after a specific center point ?

I imagine this would use a result element and position absolute values? Been a while since I've been in the weeds with Calypso.

You should be able to create an Alignment set to CMM System(there is a dropdown in the secondary alignment creation menu allowing you to select what parent alignment to use, CMM is a default option), then a theoretical point at 0,0,0 to Base Alignment. Report position of that point back to the CMM SYS alignment you created, possibly through a true position
