"ID chip 481 error" System window error

Hey everyone got a problem with my Duramax XXT TL3.
Every so often machine stops while changing a probe and this error come out in Window "ID chip 481 error". i tried cleaning every disk and contact point with disc and it is still doing it from time to time. Also tried changing a probe to find maybe defective disc and everything wos fine. It is just doing that with same error at of random could be 1-3 week with no problem and then stops. Any one ever had that error msg?

Are you using official ZEISS Probe adapter plates? If you are using 3rd party adapter plates then I advise using official hardware as the 3rd party units have an extremely high failure rate for ID Chip recognition.

If using official ZEISS adapter plates and it isn't traceable to a single plate, then you may need to schedule service for your VAST sensor.

thanks for your feedback. We are using only Zeiss adapter plates. The problem shows very randomly, one day 2x, another 10x. Even cleaning of contact on plates or VAST sensor isn't effective.

We have Duramax with VAST XXT sensor.

Do you have any idea what can be reason of this failure.
