one thought if I HAD to add MMB of -B- is :

I assume you want the MMB of the thru hole -B- to float towards the cone apex and up and down as shown in this drawing.

Try creating a 'theoretical' sphere with x,y,z that matches the actual cone.

Then do a position best fit - this allowed me to translate in the 2 axes' required.

(calypso needs a better best - STAT).
