Inspection - point cloud to step file surface

Is there a way to get the shortest distance from point cloud to a surface? 

The point cloud points are from an ITU standard and the surface I created to try and match the standard.

the inspect file is attached

Dear Timm, 

you can create a Surface Comparisson an Actual, select the desired Points in the 3D view and use as nominal Element the desired surface (e.g. a CAD or nominal surfaces). adjust the max (search) distance to nour needs.
If you now switch to I-Inspect you can check this comparisson for min/max deviation.
