Hi,

I am out of work until january so I am limited in answer.

You open strategy for 2d curve -> click unknown contour -> manually go and touch start and end point ( uknown contours scans only in machine alignment so no tilted planes ) -> select rotation axis and click a few times on direction arrow ( look on CAD for changing arrow - this way it scans )

Depending on a part select 1mm/s scan speed and step width ( 0.02 mm maybe )

After scan go to edit nominals -> move nominal in vector direction and click on probe icon - this will add there exact radius of a probe and make it negative.
Now you should have right nominals. It's recommended to run this curve again to get better reading.

It depends on your curve nominals.

In Calypso 2023 manual - page 1-40 there is guide for changing nominals.

You can move all points in same direction ( translation ) - you can rotate all points along axis ( rotation ) or you can force to every point specific value ( constant value )

If you want to get the points straight / paralell with axis, then use constant value
If you want to move curve, then use translation.
