[Cl...]
If you want to transfer any needed data from the live CMM to planner, e.g. .pcf files, etc. Where in Calypso is that option. I've seen it, but don't remember where? Or are you just importing SSC Data?

[Ri...]
AFAIK, using PCF files won't give you stylus model displays in Planner, you still need to import SSC files. I import SSC files, making sure my nomenclature is exactly the same as my PCF on the live CMM. I don't recall a method to transfer the data to and from other than importing probe files. [To...]
There is a way to do this. I created a list of steps back in 2020. Not sure if it is up-to-date but maybe it will be enough to start.Stylus System Transfer.pdf

Those dimensions come from Stylus System Creator. However, all of the angles and styli names you defined on the stylus systems will be brought in and attached to the SSC version. I know the interface has probably changed since 2020 so I don't know if the same icons/buttons still apply, but I don't believe the steps have changed. [Ri...]
Please sign in to view this quote. RC List's are separate from RDSCA, the step outlined states an RC List. Does your guide work on RDSCA probe files?
[Cl...]
Ok, I have a stupid question. What is RC & RDSCA?
[Ri...]
Please sign in to view this quote. Maybe I am confusing acronyms. I'm thinking RC List is when you have a manual list of probe articulations and RDSCA is when you use automatic articulations that are calculated by the software. [To...]
Please sign in to view this quote. Ah, now I get it. Your thinking is correct. If you are using RDS-CAA, there's really no need to importing the RC List as your stylus system will only have one, possibly 2, styli to import. [Ke...]
Please sign in to view this quote. I am working off a phone, so this is from memory, but in Extras-Settings-Miscellaneous-System. Located in that tab there are options to Save and Restore(exact verbiage may vary based on Calypso version). The backup option creates a .bak file that can then be loaded using the Restore function, even on another PC. You are given the option of what data to backup when you create the.bak, but you will still need to load SSc files if you want to see the probes in simulation, as the online seat will most likely not have those, only pcf data. I recall my work instructions were for RDS stylus systems. Not sure how this rolls out for O-Inspect.
