[Ri...]
I could use some assistance figuring out what this error is. Please sign in to view this quote. It happens on nearly every FreeForm characteristic/Feature in my program. I have about 92 FreeForm features I do not want to re-create. Error report is in a pdf file attached.Error.pdf
[Ma...]
Since it's FF - have you tried replacing model?
[Ri...]
Please sign in to view this quote. No, I have not, but I will. Oddly these run and calculate a result. The error only happens when you try to open the Characteristic and or feature.
[Ri...]
What I am finding: (Curves are being used in FreeForm features) Some FreeForm's allow Gauss best fit, some don't. Some FreeForm's allow Gauss best fit with specific attributes (Rotation, etc.) Some don't allow any Gauss at all. Some FreeForms are upwards of 3 inches in length and others are as small as 1/4 inch in length (arc, length, etc). Example: The curve for a specific freeform is 15° and resides in X,Y in Z axis rotation. I select gauss, X and Y translation and Z axis rotation. It still generates the same error. (Any combination I choose generates the same error). If I select "None" (removes translation and or rotation) it works fine. So far.... 🙄 (Just typing notes for now)
[Ma...]
Often it's based on curve nominals - whenever it's small portion or only 2D curve, then translation/rotation is limited. If you don't want to choose anything else than Gauss, then you can choose "Alignment from many curves" - there you can use more than one and select initial alignment to start. Very usefull 😉
