[Ch...] Posted October 23, 2023 Share Posted October 23, 2023 I believe this is simulated "roll-testing" with a mating or master gear - single flank only Probably to satisfy newer EV requirements. In theory it could be a great idea and helpful. Anyone who has roll tested a number of gears however will probably question its accuracy from a "simulation" gear. Inside of the Gear Pro 2023 full downloaded there is a release notes folder as well with this info. I'll include the first page here for reference.
