Creating a pallet program for Autorun

Does anyone have link to, or a pdf of how this is done? Start to finish, step by step. In a kaizen event the idea of creating a pallet program was brought up. A Duramax will be used to do this. Space is kind of limited. We would set the parts on three magnetic blocks. One is currently in place, two more would be added behind the main one. These parts will use CMM position points so they can be oriented properly for inspection. The parts are bearings. Cylinder bronze pucks. Varying diameters, thickness and features. They have either a keyway or dowel pin hole for orientation(CMM position points) The operator aligns the probe tip to the feature. The parts will need to be flipped to get features on the opposite side, and then have more CMM psition points for proper orientation.

I have attached a screenshot of a bearing and a "mock up" of one of the Duramax CMM's
