Feature Alignment Does Not Match Base Alignment

**Relatively new to Zeiss and Calypso**

I've searched the forum and was unable to find an answer. Why does the feature alignment not match the base alignment? Is that an issue?

What you are seeing is normal. No issue. However, on circles and cylinders, Calypso usually tried to enter from the +Z direction shown on the feature.

I would describe it like this:
Machine coordinate system -> Base alignment of program -> Own coordinate system of feature

Each of them has their own point of origin and axis directions.

Tip: If you ask for this - be carefull for 2D lines - manual scan always in same direction as nominal, otherwise if used in alignment it will rotate that alignment axis.
