XYZ Coordinate Export

Hi, our customer has requested a point list with coordinates for each point on a couple features to input into DMIS, how would I go about that? I have exported the zmp file and sent that to them, but i am not sure if that is enough, plus it would be kind of humourous to know they are inputting 3,000+ points by hand.

Go to the features list and highlight the one you want to export from. Right mouse click "export points" and choose which way you want to extract. It will give you x y z coordinates for each point of the feature in a file.

Yeah... they are probably using touch points and are expecting maybe a dozen or so points 🤣
I have seen supliers that only use 6 totally random points to generate a flatness result.

Joe, or anyone else...

How do I automate this process? I have "export points" activated in the "results to file" dialog. I also have defined the location to where these points are to be saved by using the "name of output file variable" option in the "Name definitions for output files..." dialog. However, at the end of a cnc run, no points are being output.

What am I missing?
