Caliper calibration with cmm

Hi everyone, I’ve a little “problem”. I would like to check a digital caliper with cmm because we don’t have enough Johnson blocks to arrive to 300 mm.
Do you have any idea to block the caliper? And how do you pick the points for construct the base alignment?

I've done this in the past, it is not accredited for calibration, but it will give you a good idea of the calipers measurement.
