Calypso Planner - Display CMM

Currently having an issue in trying to setup the simulation software to display the CMM in the simulation window. I have a contura G2, with that information specified in the CMM tab under "Machine". The measuring volumes are correct. I can also see that Calypso has a 3d model for the Contura G2 stored in its directory. Yet when I try to run a simulation, the button to activate the CMM isnt even present. What am I doing wrong? Help!

Most models won't actually show you the CMM.

DuraMax and GageMax both do, but I remember trying a whole bunch of bridge type CMMs and couldn't find any that actually worked.

It just depends on the specific size.

You have access to models for the following G2s:

7-7-6
7-10-6
10-12-6
10-16-6
10-21-6

Size does matter! 🤣

And yet - define a feature way outside the measuring volume and the portal will happily travel beyond the granite and float in outer space just to measure that feature and make you happy 😃
