[Ra...]
Im having a issue where my probe wants to crash against the part even though i have added big enough of a clearance Plane. Its a very tight spot. Is there a place in the clearance data you make the probe , take a the full motion out and then in. [Mi...]
You likely need to adjust or zero the clearance distance for that feature( I set to 0 by default and only change it where it's needed) Adjust your retract distance for that feature. Or put in "Position without probing" in the strategy Link to comment https://qualityforum.zeiss.com/topic/8516-clearance-plane-question/#findComment-37896 Share on other sites
[Ju...]
I also use CMM position points when measuring features in hard-to-reach spots. Link to comment https://qualityforum.zeiss.com/topic/8516-clearance-plane-question/#findComment-37898 Share on other sites
[Co...]
Please sign in to view this quote. CMM Positions definitely are your friend. Just be careful with them if you aren't used to using them, but this is what I would use also.
