Can anyone give me a ball park figure on the price of an off line seat.

Planner and Simulation (yes, you need both) used to be around 8k but I don't know if there has been any prices changes recently. Any other optional packages, i.e. Curves, Freeform, PCM, etc., are not included. I think there is also the SMA cost and a dongle charge.

Just got a quote about $10,000 without any extra add-ons.
Yearly SMA about $2600 before any discounts.

I believe that if you add PCM, curve/freeform it comes to about 35k +.

If you can find the right customer(s) your ROI would come in maybe 2 years?

List price in Europe is arround 8k for Planner, 4k for Simulation and 3k for STEP In/out.
I strongly recommend talking to the local Zeiss sales department. Here you can certainly negotiate the price. You should also think carefully about what you want to use the planner/simulation for. Unfortunately, the software is not without problems. Ask Zeiss exactly what the software can and cannot do.
