[Me...]
Happy Friday y'all, I was out sick for a few days. When i got back the Position of Bores seem to get worse as i travel down in Z-axis. I have also noticed some rubbing & humming noises. Looking for any ideas on proving out a Machine giving faulty numbers? Or any quick remedys... [Cl...]
Look at the Z glass scales. They may need (very gentle) cleaning. I use a clean lint-free cloth and alcohol. Clean the ways while you're at it. Link to comment https://qualityforum.zeiss.com/topic/8642-contura-issues/#findComment-38838 Share on other sites
[Er...]
Maybe someone messed with the covers? I keep asking to get one of these "Ball Bars" for internal verification use.CMMPrimer-Fig1.gif Link to comment https://qualityforum.zeiss.com/topic/8642-contura-issues/#findComment-38840 Share on other sites
