How do I create a Sphere tangent to a Cone surface?

I'm using a custom probe with a Ø7.9 stylus tip.
It is going to touch off (Self centering) in a cone surface in a bore to acquire a depth.

Measure point in direction of a hole. Then place theoretical sphere with diameter of a probe and position with using that point + radius.

Or just use math to get point you need.
