Can I add a Cad-Presentation into a PiWeb report (not full page)? I am looking at reporting the flatness with the cad model for reference.

Thanks for any help.

Yes, if you have a CAD presentation in your measurement plan and you are using the StandardProtocol.ptx, you can view the expanded row template by clicking on the form plot in the ribbon along the top of your report (looks like a small donut) and click Detailed.

Clicking on the CAD presentation preview will show a larger version.

You can go to Resources > Name for Output files > and choose an automatic naming convention for either that specific measurement plan, or all measurement plans.

You'll want to click 'X' name of output file variable if you want to use variables like date, time, part # to format the filename.

Now, I know that you can PDF the PiWeb report by selecting PDF File PiWeb reporting and configuring the export there.

However I think that the CAD presentation graphic still is produced in an older style display window, so I think you will also need to configure an export for PDF File Graphics as well.

In the dialog box it will show you a running list of items you'll be naming or saving automatically, so you should have 2 line items building in the white portion of the box at the bottom.

I could be wrong on the second part, give it a try and see what produces your desired result.

I'm using 2022 and the CAD presentation will output using the PiWeb standard protocol output from the multiple report window with plot output turned on. And as previously mentioned, you can turn on the automatic PDF output and specify the file naming criteria.

There's two ways:

1. Go to Extras -> Settings -> Environment and select the "Paths" tab. There you can change "Default Path for Result Files"

2. Go to Prepare -> Name for output files -> ... for this/all Measurement Plan(s)
Select "PDF file PiWeb reporting" under Output file and there you can set path and file name from report header for example.

If you are outputting multiple PDF files and would like them to all be created as one PDF, you can enable "PDF_ALL" in the name of output files options. This requires an extra step which is the download and installation of Ghostscript however. Calypso will execute the ghostscript command and merge all PDFs created in that inspection plan into one PDF file. The others will still exist unless you write PCM to delete them or send them to a directory that auto-deletes via a Windows command.

This can be found at link below. gs925w32.exe is the file required.
