Good afternoon all,
I working on a program now. the model has two components(top & bottom ring). We measure all the feature from the top ring and we need to remove the top ring to have access to the feature between the two ring. Can we hide the top rings haft way tough the program?.
Can someone let me know if this is possible..

Thank you in advance for all your help.

If you have PCM, you can swap out the two models with a prompt. I am not 100% sure of
the exact code, but there are several programmers on the forum that are well versed in PCM.

For programming you can make the top ring invisible (assuming it's a CAD assembly) by removing the checkmark in front of it in the hierarchy.
During the actual run you don't need to modify the model at all. Just insert a programmed stop in the strategy of the last feature of the top ring, so the operator can remove it before continuing the run. Make sure to run by feature list.
