But in my case i prefer curves for alignments - much more options to mask points and not relay only on model. As i know you have to make more features each referencing with alignment from previous feature ( feat1 - base alignment | feat2 - feat1 alignment ). Only looping same path didn't bring me no benefits. If you randomly select points, its more difficult to determine what you have compared to symmetric points.
