ViScan Documentation

Started a new job, and I'm now the proud owner of a ViScan head. However, I literally cannot find any information on it. I can't even find training classes for it. Does anyone happen to have any documentation at all? Anything helps.

There is a calibration walkthrough in the Zeiss academy I believe. That will show the basic functions. Otherwise there may be some basic info in the sensor handbook in the document portal. If you have any questions I may be able to help. I have a viscan head. I use it for a number of things including image acquisition.

A basic but very old manual comes with every Calypso installation.

Go to C:\Programs (x86)\Zeiss\CALYPSO <XX>\userinfo\manuals\en\

The file name is "optisches messen.pdf"
This is from 2012 / Calypso 5.4, so most of the software functions described are outdated and all the new ones are missing of course. You're probably better off by working your way through the help file.

You may be able to access some helpful items on the Zeiss portal (portal.zeiss.com), in the Zeiss Academy. If I recall there are both free and paid courses, but I believe there are some courses about the ViScan in the free tutorials, including some about setup and qualification.
