I know this is a longgggggggg shot but doing it anyway. I have GT 7

Calibration result tab missing. When I go into calibration mode (tab), then the measurement tab everything is blank. I have nowhere to enter the measurement results for the printout. What have I done lol. Has been working fine for 3 yrs.

Seems good OL GT people want you to pay them $399.00 a yr for a SMA. They will NOT give you any support unless you have an up to date SMA. That's a crock shty. Why not charge me per incident instead? 400.00 a yr for nothing. They have not dropped a new version of GT in yrs.

The companies these days....

Just to clarify you are going into Gage...Calibration and then measurement. correct? So we have had a few problems in the past where the database has been corrupted. The system is not very stable. I will ask our IT guy what he does to retrieve or rebuild and get back to you.

Not sure if this will help but this is what our Gage Track guy said.

"Make sure his test points are filled in under the test points "

"This is where the measurement points are generated for the measurements tab in calibrations."

Yeah test points are all in there just like they have always been.
Been working great till Fri.

Guess Ill have to pay the ransomware to get it back. Cybermetrics is something else. If you don't have a SMA then you get no tech support. BUT they have not had an upgrade since 2017. Still using same version. SO the SMA price tag is just support. I'm in the wrong business. Should have read the small print on the disclosure I guess. That's on meeeee

Note: this has nothing to do with the actual question,.

Thank God i always find a way to weasel my way out of gage calibration.
I was tricked into it with the promise of "Job Security" when i was a young lad, then realized that everybody in the pay scales above me always hated gage calibration guy, so i passed it on to a new young lad as soon as i could.
every time i go to a new job (which thankfully hasn't happened in a while now) there's always the ubiquitous question from the new manager, "So you ever done gage cal?".
I found that "no" is a bad answer because the counter to that is "well let me show you our system". The better answer is "yes but after that disastrous audit it was taken over by my manager".
nowadays i just overstate my workload, make up a series of projects i'm working hard on (theres always things in the distance) and the job lands in someone else's lap.

Roberto that post looks like it could be used for blackmail to get some discounted 3d printed Vast adapter plate holders.
LOL - just kidding, but it is time to put in for some more holders. They are a nice way to keep stylus systems organized.

Just out of curiosity, how did a Gagetrak conversation get going here. Is it part of Zeiss now? We use it here too. I was not real impressed with the 'update' from 6.8 to 7.0. Not sure if I missed something there?

I started the thread due to the fact some in here use it and could have saved me from having to buy the 400.00 MA JUST to fix this issue

No Its not part of zeiss. I just reached out...…..

It'd be interesting to know the percentage. It really does seem that way.

I heard the other day that PC-DMIS has some absurd market share in the U.S, like 70%.

  • 2 years later...
We upgraded to 7.0 and paid 2 years $699 tech support. Now it has lapsed again. I enabled security log in and have locked myself out with no way to retrieve or reset user or password.. Anyone know how to do that? I'm not happy about paying $399 year to get back in.

I am new to Gage Trak, but, have you tried to clone the gage to see if it would give you the missing page? You could use one that does have all it's bells and whistles working and just re - do the gage info.
