[Cl...]
Does anyone use Freedom software linked to your CMM to track usage/cycle time.
[Ri...]
You can track usage via CMM Observer. Open the XML file in Excel. Follow default prompts. And you will have a worksheet like the attached image. In the PlanName column is the program name. In the RunStart column you will have info like this: 2021-09-02T18:12:28.103062-04:00 The highlighted section is the start time. The first part of the above string is the run date (2021-09-02) In the RunEnd column: 2021-09-02T18:14:01.911062-04:00 The first part of the above string is the run date (2021-09-02) In the RunDuration column is a decimal value, this can be converted to time for "hh:mm:ss" All of this can be plotted within Excel.Untitled.jpg

[Jo...]
My ProgramDurationRecord file is empty. Is there a way to turn this on for log if I don't have cmm observer ? IT is not cooperative on using the new Smart service.

[To...]
Please sign in to view this quote. I could be wrong but I don't think Monitor and Observer are the same thing.
[Jo...]
Please sign in to view this quote. I was thinking the "do not record" box in monitor was tied to the runtime log
[Is...]
Please sign in to view this quote. The Monitor tool sends the data to the ProgramDurationRecord file.. The Observer files in the same folder come from Calypso...
[Jo...]
Please sign in to view this quote. My ProgramDurationRecord is empty. Shouldn't it at least be recording ?
[Is...]
Please sign in to view this quote. The Monitor SW has a kind of buffer, it doesn't send the data every program execution if you want real time data is better to use the observer files (but you have to develop the way to record)
