[Do...]
Hello. Does anyone know how to look at the crash report? I know the Zeiss techs are able to look at a report of how many crashes a machine has had in a certain time frame. Is it possible to look at this myself? [Is...]
There are some options available: - Software: like Maintenance Wizard. - FTP connection with the controller, the log files are in: \BC\KMG\log\error - Maybe is possible by the Calypso log files too in: C:\Users\Public\Documents\Zeiss\Tracker\Log 1 Link to comment https://qualityforum.zeiss.com/topic/9668-how-to-look-at-the-crash-report/#findComment-45254 Share on other sites
[No...]
Note to self: Make nifty Excel worksheet for error log evaluation with lots of pie charts and diagrams. Some day. Before retirement. [Is...]
Please sign in to view this quote. Problem with zip is that some transfers kill the content (especially if it contents exe files). 7 zip is freeware and doesn't need installation. Here you have it: Link to comment https://qualityforum.zeiss.com/topic/9668-how-to-look-at-the-crash-report/#findComment-45260 Share on other sites

[ED...]
Please sign in to view this quote. Thanks. For the FTP and Calypso logs, have you personally used them for maintenance analysis, or are they based on known system paths only? [Ka...]
Please sign in to view this quote. Norbert, slow down! You're not planning on leaving us already, are you? Retirement isn't until you're 70, and we're sure you'll want to keep working for another 10 years. It's so much fun with Zeiss 🙂 Link to comment https://qualityforum.zeiss.com/topic/9668-how-to-look-at-the-crash-report/#findComment-144431 Share on other sites

Unless our beloved government makes some very grave changes to the current rules, my full retirement is 8 years away - at most. But you can bet your probe head that I'm aiming for a much earlier date. 😄 Zeiss' genuine software is indeed much fun - there are (and always were) so many intentional loopholes you can peek through and investigate, it's like a children's birthday party for a computer geek. 🤣. I'll be missing that - but it won't stop me 😉 1 Link to comment https://qualityforum.zeiss.com/topic/9668-how-to-look-at-the-crash-report/#findComment-144509 Share on other sites
