[Cl...]
Hey Tom, I'm pretty sure in the sim its the same as if it was live. In the Automatic stylus system change window, hit the changer drop down, then click "Define Holder Location" Hope I understood the assignment. [Cl...]
Welp, I tried. We don't work with vision systems.... Link to comment https://qualityforum.zeiss.com/topic/9736-xxt-carrier-info-in-simulation/#findComment-45836 Share on other sites
[To...]
Well, I just stumbled onto the solution. I modified the value in Section 4 equal to the Typical value. And then it worked.Screenshot 2022-08-18 140548.jpg Link to comment https://qualityforum.zeiss.com/topic/9736-xxt-carrier-info-in-simulation/#findComment-45838 Share on other sites

[Ri...]
Please sign in to view this quote. This reminds me of loading an RT into Simulation - I ended up just copying settings from a real machine as it was a pain to get it correct. [To...]
Please sign in to view this quote. go back a few posts and you'll see a screenshot of the window and it shows a "Typical Value" in Section 4, which is what I entered. I'm guessing as long as it is greater than zero, it will work.Zeiss RDS Probe Holder.jpg Link to comment https://qualityforum.zeiss.com/topic/9736-xxt-carrier-info-in-simulation/#findComment-45844 Share on other sites
[Ch...]
Please sign in to view this quote. What settings are you copying? I too have issues with RT in simulation. I can translate it just fine, but my rotation angle is never inline with the machine axis. [Ri...]
Please sign in to view this quote. I honestly don't remember. I believe I ended up just copying the entire machine config folder over, and then I would add my other machines into simulation if needed.
