[Ri...] Posted yesterday at 01:47 PM Share Posted yesterday at 01:47 PM Yes, as it is a direct importer. The only other option would be the DMIS import, but that can be a hit/miss depending on how complex the program is. The PC-DMIS import is very successful. [Ri...]
Please sign in to view this quote. You don't necessarily need a CMM with PC-DMIS, you need a licensed copy of PC-DMIS installed. However, you can read PC-DMIS as a text file, you should be able to duplicate the program. You would have to understand PC-DMIS commands, which is not to difficult. [Br...]
Hello, I wrote a Knowledge Base article on this topic. Feel free to check it out!! FAQ: - You have to have Calypso and Pcdmis on the same pc - It is a paid option so you would need to contact your Zeiss Aftermarket Sales Rep - As with any translator, you will need to "clean things up" after conversion If Calypso and Pcdmis are not on the same system, the other route would be to export dmis out of Pcdmis and Dmis import into Calypso.
