Angularity between holes

We are trying to measure the angularity of 2 extruded holes on a tube. The holes are on different legs or planes of the tube. We need to check the angularity 0.15mm to the 1st extruded hole. What would be the best way to check the feature using the Zeiss CMM?

Angularity controls form and orientation, in other words straightness(your case)and rotation of the feature ..
You can measure it as 3D line using multiple circles..

Just an FYI - Angularity is not a tolerance on the angle.

It is the most commonly misapplied dimension.

It sounds like they are applying a linear dimension correctly instead of an angular one. The tolerance zone is a cylinder 0.15mm in diameter in respect to the 1st extruded hole.

Gary, Calypso has an angularity characteristic that should work well. You can set the 1st extruded hole as the datum and your feature of interest as the 2nd extruded hole. Then, set the tolerance to 0.15mm. If you are extracting the features from a CAD model, the nominal angle will be automatically populated. Check that it is correct. Otherwise, you can input the nominal angle manually. What specifically do you need help setting up on this?
