[Ja...]
In each DRF of a multiple single segment Position callout, need the primary datum of each DRF match? I understand that they must in a composite Position, but what about single segments?

In my knowledge no, multiple segment are used for refinement of location and orientation.it is allowed to use different datum reference frame in different segment, but I think it is more expensive.... [Ja...]
Please sign in to view this quote. Andreas, Thanks for taking the time to respond. I don't think that you understand the question that I am asking. I'm not trying to understand the differences between or the nuances of composite/single segment Position callouts. I was just curious whether the primary datums had to match when using multiple single segments and if anybody had something from 14.5 to back up their answer. It seems to not say so but every example has it that way.

Thanks Brett, That is what I was thinking, but I had stopped searching once I hit simultaneous requirements. It looks like my answer was a couple of pages down.
