I was literally just thinking of this one... if they know small arc radii are tough to calculate, why not build in the logic ??

Anyone get "new simulation" to function with out lag? mine is so slow un-useable , I have NVIDIA RTX 5000 Ada with 32GB GPU RAM with Autodesk motion builder compatible global settings, and OpenCL drivers installed with GPU driver.

Unfortunately this is an issue with the new simulation right now. It has been resolved, but the fix will not be out until the patch, which should hopefully be out soon.

we can now toggle beteewn x/y & Rad/Ang in a GDT position without having to change the feature. This is a nice improvement.

Who knows in 2026 we may even be able to build Feature Control Frames at least for the report.

I think they should also allow setting a feature as a Datum letter like PC-DMIS, and build FCF and modifiers in the GDT Engine, etc.

Lame 🤪.  They know it's the second-most voted for improvement on MyVoice.  At least they clarified the reason for the existing function (undo last probing not a basic "undo" function).  Hopefully they provide this essential software function in the near future.

Even though it's slow, could you test if rotation on XTR is working? I'm swamped right now and can't deal with installation. That's one thing I need fixed and it's been broken for some time. Rotation would not work if the whole stylus system was displayed. It works with just stylus displayed.

  I've never before used XTR although have seen it and like it's functionality.

 

 I did try a simulation set-up. I am able to see the MasterProbe rotate in simulation. I built a few other stylus in SSC and these do not appear in simulation at all for some reason. 

 

Hop this helps a little. My simulation is running a little better after a reboot and latest NVIDIA drivers. Still seems slower compared to 2023/2024.

GD&T Engine Updates 2-3 Updated to meet newest standards, SIM support added, UI streamlined. Now easier access via main menu.
Line/Surface Profile with UZ 2-4 UZ offset directly specifiable—no longer needs manual calculation. Streamlines GD&T programming.
PiWeb Point List Output 2-5 Export min/max deviations or individual deviations with tolerances to PiWeb. Helpful for documentation and visualization.
Angularity w/ Nominal Direction 2-6 Allows manual input of nominal direction on angularity characteristics. Enhances flexibility.

I just tried to run planner and it gives me the error "machineDoesNotExist" along with another error.
